خانمی حدود ۴۵ ساله برای اصلاح بهم ریختگی دندانها مراجعه کردند.
ایشان در گذشته در سمت راست بالا یک دندان پرمولر کشیده بودند که فضای آن کاملاً بسته شده و در سمت پایین راست هم دو دندان کشیده شده بودند که فضای دندان شماره چهار خودبخود بسته شده و دندان شماره شش با ایمپلنت جایگزین شده بود.
علاوه بر سن دو عامل دیگر باعث پیچیدگی و محدودیت درمان شد
وجود یک ایمپلنت که امکان حرکت ندارد
تحلیل قابل توجه لثه و استخوان
تصمیم بر این شد که درمان ارتودنسی بصورت محدود و ساده تر انجام شود. بنابراین ارتودنسی ثابت بدون کشیدن دندان صورت گرفت و فضای مورد نیاز عمدتاً از تراش دندانها ( استریپینگ ) تأمین شد که به بهبود شکل دندانها و کاهش فضاهای سیاه بین دندانها کمک کرد. بناچار میدلاین تصحیح نشده باقی ماند و درمان نزدیک یکسال و نیم به پایان رسید.
