خانمی با شکایت از لبخند لثه ای مراجعه داشتند بررسی ها نشان داد که منشأ مشکل فکی و اسکلتی می باشد که راه اصلاح آن جراحی فک است.
طرح درمان ایشان با مشورت با متخصص محترم جراحی فک و صورت تنظیم شد. در فک پایین برای کاهش شیب دندانها و ایجاد زاویه صحیح نسبت به بیس استخوان در طرف چپ مقداری از فضای دندان قبلاً کشیده شده بسته شد و در سمت راست با بهره گیری از مینی اسکرو دندانها بدون کشیدن عقب کشیده شدند.
بعد از آماده سازی ارتودنسی، جراحی و بعد مراحل پایانی ارتودنسی بعد از عمل به نحو مطلوب انجام شد. بعد از عمل علاوه بر اصلاح لبخند لثه ای، نیمرخ صورت بهبود پیدا کرد.
