خانم دکتری از همکاران برای اصلاح نامرتبی دندانها مراجعه کردند. پس از بررسی دقیقتر مشخص شد که چفت شدن دندانهای عقب صحیح است و در فک بالای ایشان بین دندانها فضا وجود دارد در حالی در فک پایین کمبود فضا وجود دارد که علت عدم تناسب سایز دندانها و بزرگتر بودن دندانهای جلو در فک پایین بود. در ضمن دیپ بایت هم دیده مشاهده میشد (همپوشانی عمودی زیاد دندانها ).
درمان ارتودنسی ثابت در هردو فک انجام شد. برای ایجاد تعادل در سایز دندانها مقداری از سطوح بین دندانی فک پایین تراشیده شد ( Stripping ) که علاوه بر ایجاد رابطه دندانی بهتر ثبات نتایج درمان را بهتر میکند. درضمن زاویه دندانهای بالا جهت رفع دیپ بایت و جبران مشکل سایز دندانها افزایش داده شد.
