مراجعه کننده میانسالی داشتیم با بهم ریختگی قابل توجه دندانها که در فک بالا شدیدتر بود و تنگی فک بالا و فرم قوس دندانی مثلثی شکل مشاهده شد.

درمان با ارتودنسی ثابت و بدون کشیدن دندان طراحی شد. برای گسترش عرضی و اصلاح فرم قوس فک بالا از پالاتال بار متحرک استفاده شد.

بعد از ارتودنسی در دندانهای جلو علاوه بر ردیف شدن، دندانها بطور صحیح چفت شدند. خط لبخند اصلاح شد و دیده شدن دندانها در لبخند افزایش یافت.

با افزایش عرض قوس بالا عرض لبخند افزایش یافت شیب دندانهای عقب به داخل و چفت شدن آنها اصلاح شد.
